In an effort to rebuild Haiti and prepare the youth for the challenges of the 21st century, the Fondation Durane just signed a partnership with the global university system which include contracts with Europe University in Germany, Avila university in the USA and Trebas institute in Canada. The focus of studies will be engineering, technology, finance,medical and Law.
Haiti remains trapped in a vicious cycle which is destroying the foundations of our republic. But the foundation Durane is working behind the scenes with higher education and the United Nations bring progress and economic development to Haiti.

Unleashing Women Economic power with Fondation Durane in Haiti
The Great power of our society maybe pushing back, but so are we Fondation Durane president Joel Durane tells at CSW68. Women rights are under attack in Haiti despite record high global human development in 2023. Disparities between the haves and the have-nots are widening in the rural areas for women in Haiti. We all must act to reverse that dangerous trend. We must develop a comprehensive approach to protect the most vulnerable of our society women and girls. Fondation Durane tells “ We the people “ work with us and together we will shape the future of our women and girls in Haiti. The Fondation Durane has set goals to build a more sustainable future for women and girls in Haiti. The violence, neglect, and abuse of women in Haiti halt human progress in the 21st century. The sustainable development goals by United Nations are a call for action to promote prosperity ,ending poverty and develop strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs in Haiti including Education, Health, and economic development we must never give up. The adoption of a common economic policy constitutes an essential characteristic of the common market. It aims to harmonize all the conditions for the production and movement of people, goods and services. The Durane Foundation has a specific financial support mechanism for small business owners. We believe that when we empower women, they can do anything. They will be able to help themselves, their families, their communities and their societies through the practical skills they will learn from the Durane Foundation, which will help them grow their businesses and become a significant part of Haiti's economy. So, for this we continue with a 10-month program in Grand Rivière du Nord where we welcome more than 1,445 women entrepreneurs from January 2021 to January 2022 who are looking for opportunities, ideas, inspiration and a platform where they can promote and share their own small business ideas. With the business and life skills they will learn from the Durane Foundation, they will become successful businesswomen who will in turn set an example for young girls in their community and throughout Haiti. The financial aspect is divided into two parts, the TiMachan and the members of microcredit, FDMC in the capacity of a bank where the latter can make well-oriented savings.
The Durane Foundation was present at the 68th session of the United Nations (Ecosoc), the President of the Durane Foundation met with one of the Kings of Africa. During the meeting they discussed women empowerment, poverty reduction, and education. They vowed to work together to make their respective countries a better place. As a result, through the Durane Foundation, Haiti was represented at the United Nations and was a voice for Haitian woman on the global stage.
We are convinced that women in general are an essential pillar of a country's prosperity. So with this "DF" program, which is a partnership with the international American Institute, we have seen that the train of the emergence of our country will advance with a very high speed on the economic point of the country. Since our objective is to reduce the rate of unemployment and poverty in the municipality of the Grande Riviere.
